The association Gargantue’Sk is the Enology Club of SKEMA Business School (Lille) and was founded in 1992. With 19 members and about a hundred subscribers, the main aim of the association is to initiate the students of the school into french and foreign winemaking heritage. Thus, they can fully appreciate the wealth of this historical, economic and geographical culture. This transmission is carried out through several events such as wine tastings of world-renowned wines. Those wine tastings are organized throughout the year and really enjoyed by the participants from SKEMA. Professionals from the vineyards lead the presentations, explaining the wines, their jobs and also their knowhow. Gargantue’Sk also organizes other events related to wine, such as wine/cheese samplings for instance.

Gargantue’Sk also takes part in prestigious national and international blind tasting competitions with rather good results (2nd at the international contest organized by Pol Roger in 2012 for example). Finally, Gargantue’Sk is considered as one of the best French student enology club.
